It’s really not easy finding good tailors with fair pricing—I think I finally found the tailor for me! The team is wonderful and extremely well-experienced in western and eastern clothes alike! We have had to work on some extensive custom tailoring for my pieces which always sit really big or long on me or some pieces in between sizing to require the custom couture type of fitting, and they do an excellent job! Please don’t change a thing you do or go anywhere 😊thank you so much truly!

Universal Sewing is the BEST! I came in thinking I would just get my dress hemmed but they tailored the entire dress to my shape perfectly and even added cups so I wouldn’t need to worry about what to wear underneath. Cannot recommend enough!

I had a great experience with Universal Sewing and especially with the owner, Shenouda Kamel. The work they did on the suit was honestly impressive. The suit looked completely different after the alterations and tailoring. Before, it did not fit properly and looked outdated, but after Shenouda worked on it, it looked modern, sharp, elegant, and professionally fitted.
You can really tell he pays attention to every detail. The fit around the shoulders, sleeves, pants, and overall shape came out excellent. The suit now looks custom made instead of off the rack. The quality of the work, the professionalism, and the care put into the final result exceeded expectations.
Shenouda was also very respectful, patient, and honest throughout the process. It is not easy to find someone who truly understands tailoring and knows how to transform a suit the right way, but he definitely does. I highly recommend Universal Sewing to anyone who wants quality alterations or tailoring done right. The before and after difference was huge, and I will definitely return again.
